8th March 2010 - the usual club prospects are around in various media outlets, this one is from The Age and as usual they are predicting the Panthers to miss the eight.  The Panthers are $21 on SportsBet to win the Premiership.

The Cowboys suffer a 6 point loss to the Broncos at Suncorp Stadium on opening night for the NRL.  They were down 20-0 at the break before an inspirational second half led by Jonathon Thurston bought the score back to 24-all.  A late try to Denan Kemp sealed victory for the home side.  The Cowboys face the Panthers at Dairy Farmers in round two.
