This is an interesting development in the rugby league world to see who will host the 2012 Grand Final and I have mixed views on this.
Sydney is the spiritual home of rugby league with all Grand Finals being played in Sydney, the majority of the teams in Sydney and NRL HQ and the referee HQs are in Sydney.  The Stadium now seats 85,000 albiet not the best viewing ground for League (from the nose bleed section on both sides of the ground).  Brisbane has always drawn good crowds for all types of rugby league compared to Sydney and we do have a world class stadium in Suncorp Stadium which seats 52,000.  Would the NRL sacrifice 33,000 seats to move the game to Brisbane or would they simply raise the ticket prices from approx $130 to $200 to produce the same revenue at a smaller stadium?  Whats your thoughts on this?
One thing for certain - Qlders deserve two State of Origin games over NSW for the next few years. Having only one game here for the last few years is a bit unfair considering tickets sell out in minutes and the Maroons have won the last 4 Origin series.

Grand Final: Sydney. No doubt.

Origin: Current holders should have home-ground advantage.
